This position is for a lead design engineer and technical expert on new construction and renovation projects for HVAC design, plumbing, piping, and fire suppression systems with an emphasis on energy efficient design. This position will work with and coordinate efforts with other engineers and architects to develop complete project designs, and document with drawings, estimates, and specifications. This position requires client interaction, the ability to identify and interpret design requirements, and the ability to work independently to resolve issues and formulate solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Education, Training & Experience
· Degree in Architectural Engineering, with 5-10 years of related engineering experience.
· Professional registration in PA or another state is a pre-requisite.
· Expert level mechanical design skills and ability to plan, coordinate, estimate, and design is a must. Expert knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
· Use of and understanding of Revit a plus.
· Strong writing, excellent communication, and analytical skills required
